Interesting vibes. A bit strange the guys. Some other colleague from online meeting gave me some numbers to work with. That's how I came up with a consulting offer.

Consulting Offer

From what I learned from you, here is what I can propose: one on-premise server (+gateway, +wifi access point) with up to 10 monitoring devices: $15,000.

Since this will require quite some customization to adapt our system to your needs (enclosure re-design, maybe adding other sensors, etc.) to make sure you are capturing the correct signals to solve your problem, I would suggest we enter in a consulting agreement for 6 months as following: the first 3 months will be spent on customization and deployment of the system to your site, and the last 3 months be spend on data processing to make sure you get the most value out of it. I propose a one time flat fee of $80,000 for this engagement with Abnito.

During this period of trial, I would be happy to work with KLA to understand how to optimize our system to scale and be cost effective at scale when your needs go from 5-6 sensors up to 30,000 as one of your colleagues mentioned in the meeting. For instance, one server can be used for at least 100 monitoring devices so this CAPEX can be amortized. To further optimize and reduce price at scale, we will need to collaborate together to have the full picture of your needs when deploying across multiple facilities and systems, this way we can create a win-win scenario.
